Visual hydrogen leak indicator tape

Hydrogen leak detection tape is a specially coated polyimide-based tape designed to identify hydrogen leaks in equipment such as fuel cells, hydrogen transmission/storage systems, and production facilities. If components are damaged or seals fail—causing the tape to come into contact with high-concentration hydrogen—the tape changes color from amber to black.
Inspectors can use the color change to accurately pinpoint the location and assess the severity of the leak, enabling prompt corrective actions to enhance plant safety.
