Nondestructive testing (NDT) is vital for modern industry. Neutron photography, using neutron beam attenuation, reveals object interior details. It applies widely in manufacturing, and also in archaeology, plant cultivation, etc.NDT is the foundation of modern industry and, to a certain extent, reflects a country's level of industrial development. 

Specification

Neutron radiography is a nondestructive testing method relying on radiation attenuation through objects. Neutrons interacting with a sample's nuclei alter the transmitted beam's intensity and distribution. As different materials attenuate neutrons uniquely, the interaction strength reflects local sample properties like element makeup, density, and cavities, revealing internal composition and structure. Specialized techniques visualize the transmitted neutron fluence rate, offering details on material distribution, density changes, and defects.

The compact high-resolution NCamera works as follows: the neutron source generates 2.45MeV neutrons, which are then slowed and collimated into a parallel thermal neutron beam. This beam penetrates the sample, and the transmitted neutrons are captured as images. The sample is then moved for X-ray imaging. Software processes both images and fuses them for the final result.
